quick case recommendation
i've just received my crystal case from hong kong, via ebay.
it fits great, slides still with the screen protected and only increases dimensions by 1.5mm all round.
good protection for not much cost. when combined with a martin fields screen protector my phone feels safe.

I'm glad to hear that the case is good. I ordered one off ebay the other day. Waiting for it to arrive.
Also comes with a battery, charger adapter and a car charger for around £12. Seems like a pretty good deal to me

I just got an excellent crystal clear case off ebay from a UK seller for £3.99 plus postage...it fits extremely well and is the most unobtrusive case I've ever got for a mobile device and believe you me, I've had a few. Do a search for Nokia N80 crystal case and then limit the search to UK only.

I've been looking for a silicone case for my N80, but for a fiver, it's rude not to at least try one of those...

can't see how a silicon case will allow you to use the slider easily, could be wrong tho'. i can now say that the crystal cases stay on in a drop on the floor scenario...oooops. and of course the screen is fine and no marks on the case. NICE

I got a Krussell case for my N80, came in the post while I was in UK but I know now why there is a little bit of play in the slider,(see previous posts about slider play on the forum)
anyhow with it in the case there is no play in the slider mechanism at all, leather and plastic materials. I bought this one for the N80 because I had one for my P910, so it was a case of proven use for me. £25 for the case from the manufacturers website.

I'm tempted to buy the multipack which includes a battery and car charger too, but not sure what the battery quality will be like. Picture looks like a nokia battery, yet they may send a random generic one.
For example, the description says:

NOTE: Above pictures are for reference only. There may be a little bit difference with the real products, e.g. words on a battery.

Should I be worried?
Finally, does the case cover the screen as well? I've noticed some ebayers selling it with screen protectors (plus the first post mentions one too), yet the pics look as though it does cover.
Many thanks for your help!
Paul.

Got to second that remark. I received mine from ebay yesterday - 3.99 + p&p.
Wasn't really sure what to expect, but this is a great case, comes in two parts which snaps onto the case housing along the edge of the N80 (yes, I didn't even know it was there either).
Very smooth feel to the case and best of all, I can now stand my N80 upright on it's end without it toppling backwards!
