u have to press Green Dial + '*' + No. 3 key and then switch off when the phone is switched of
alsso check that u have full battery. You wont get any formatting screen. and you have to press these keys until you get a screen that lets you choose the country time and date.
hope this helps.

PS i formatted my 6680 yesterday

Well the country message is exactly appearing but the formating means that the phone should work properly.
I use to format 6600 and 7610 in which word formatting appears on the screen and then black color from the left to right showing the % of phone format.
I am trying everything as i done on these battery is full even i dont know

Mrhammad! Back-up your contacts and messages. Switch off your phone press Green answering key + 3 + * key
and you will not see this "formating" wordings because 6630 and newer phones dont have this "formating" screen but they can be formatted like this. If you see "select your home city" then it means it is "formatted" and then go and check your phone memory. You will find it totally clean. I did this on my 6630 3/4 times, at first i thought where the heel is "formating" screen then i realized that these new phones dont have it.

Have a nice day

Hi everyone, I have a big problem and I need to solve it as soon as possible! I tried hard reset on my nokia 6630 with combination of 3 bottons: green+*+3, and after that the display just blink with start image of nokia logo again and again... I can't turn off the phone normal I can just take off the battery. When I turn the phone on, there is the same situation. Please help me!
