Can any cell beat the nokia 6630?
I bought a 6630 around a year ago, and now i've grown really bored of it!
A lot of new cells have come by, by then but here's what i've realized
Two cell phones have REALLY revolutionized the Nokia cell fone indutstry and they are the Nokia 6600 (the first really popular s60 phone, best combination of s60 wid camera) and the 6630 (the best combination of s60 and camera alongside the fastest processor in all nokia older fones)
Now, if im going to upgrade i need to continue my spree and get a fone that can beat the 6630 and, be revolutionary!
So people ; according to you, which cell fone truely beats the 6630 and revolutionizes??

One of the new Nseries phones would do it. The N92 looks really interesting! Everything on it but you wil have to wait a while for that. Eseries maybe? What are you using the phone for - music? pictures? videos? business on the move? Anything specific or just an all rounder????

Lol!Hmmmm..... i use mine for all round stuff as well! Im on nokia 6680. No problems yet (well none that aint easily fixed or that have been caused by me!) What phones have you looked at? I like the N92 plus it should be out around the same time as my next upgrade! In the Uk vodafone have a phone made by Sharp shooting 3 megapixel photos! Although if you ship a cell in from japan you could be having 6 megapixels!!! Thats pretty impressive for a phone don't you think??? If its music your after N80 has 4gb memory built in although other new phones are taking up to 2gb memory cards! I suppose the real question is - what phones are available to you???

N91 has 4GB, N80 does not.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia6630/1.0 (5.03.08) SymbianOS/8.0 Series60/2.6 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)
For my next upgrade i m looking for a N70.The youngest(i guess) member of nokia n series.Personaly i dnt like folding or sliding sets.So only n70 is for me.N according to specs its a allrounder phone for me.2 mpix camera + 32 mb of ram, which my 6630 got only about 7 mb :( i am sticking with nokia.I like the nokia style n waiting the day when i get my hand on my very fav n70.

My n70 arrives tomorrow.
anyway, 6630 firmware 6.03.08 seems to have parts of the nokia 6680 kernel in it.
I'll give you an example,
MobiTv on the 3 portal, 6630 specific version fails to install, 6680 version installs without a hitch.
There's also other oddities like the motorola headset reset issue bug being fixed on both models within 5 days of each other's firmware release.
