how about changing the music player skins?

Ok buddies. Here it is. I am no expert in creating my own skins but I have a collection of skins which can replace the existing look of your Music Player. There is a procedure that has to be followed in order for it to work.

#1. Go to Z:\System\Apps and copy the folder “Mplayer”

#2. Paste the “Mplayer” folder in you Memory Card at E:\System\Apps

#3. Enter the Mplayer folder in E:\System\Apps and delete mpgfxs.mbm

#4. Download the MPlayerSkins pack http://www.crazylittleworld.com/n70/MPlayerSkins.zip (2.22MB) and extract it. There are 21 skins in the pack, each one in a separate folder and most of them have a screenshot included. Each folder has mpgfxs.mbm for that particular skin.

#5. Transfer the mpgfxs.mbm for your chosen skin to the N70.

#6. Start FExplorer, go to Inbox and copy the mbm file you just transferred.

#7. Paste the file in E:\System\apps\Mplayer

That’s it. Start the Music Player as you normally do and enjoy the new look and feel

g'day mate, thanks for the write up, one question, i have done all you said, and when i sart mplayer, i still have the default skin, if i use FExplore, and find the app file on the memory card, i can run it from there and i have the skin, but if i run it from the music button on the phone, i get the default skin.

is there a way to point the phone to the mplayer on the card, rather than it always goin to the default settings on the phone, i checked the key set up in the setting butthere is no other mplayer to be found... thnks for your time....

try installing to the phone memory, rather than the mmc.
if on c drive will override the z drive one..

just tried putin it on the c drive, has made no difference ... i can run the skinned version with FExplorer, but i cant find a way to point the phone to this MPlayer , rather than the version on the Z drive, how come i seem to be the only on me that cant get this to work?... any help would be appreciated...cheers
