Is it? (remote control with 6630?)

Try to set 'open with...' with fexplorer.

i dont think u can. unless 6630 has infrared? i no my 6680 doesnt. FExplorer has an option to turn IR on but this (obviously has no effect! Although if yopu can get it to work i would be interested!

6630 does not have infrared, so it's not possible to use as Tv remote control

hmmm.... i worked it out (very very non scientifically) at roughly 9/10 metres. may differ from remote to remote i suppose. But i had to walk out of the door to get that far! so i think that any longer than that would be pointless? In response to the initial thread

Could your friend of been talking of a multimedian computer being used as a televison? Because alot of the new high-spec machines are being manufactured with bluetooth in-built so it would probably be very possible to control the tv with a program like 'bemused'? Any ideas?
