Nokia Rant!

That is the right way to start this.
I gave my phone away for repair two and a half weeks a go.I got the bluetooth system error and the battery fatigue problem, its really common, you might have spoted in some of the threads here.People stated that usually they got their phone back in two weeks or so.i was just notified by Nokia representatives that the repair would take 5-6 weeks.
What are they repairing? A nuclear reactor?
i'm having a nervous breakdown.

try to calm down! the same thing happened to me too! they told me it would take bout 10-15 days and after 10 days i received a letter telling me that it might take 6-7 weeks cuz their sending to italy! i was like hell no!! give me a new one and you can keep that other phone and you know what happened? i got a new one!

i don't think that it would take that long! just wait till next week and then call again!

This seems to be quite a common problem with the 7650, I guess things will speed up once the phone has been around longer.

The problem in the UK, was training people @ NSC's to repair them if you took it to a place that wasn't trained to fix it then it had to be sent away.

If anoyone need their phone fixing in the UK I highly recomend Project Telecom (Look up their details in the NSC guide).

I had my phone back the next day

Ghost,

I took mine to the NSC on Oxford Street (it's the Carphone Warehouse main store) at around 5:30PM with the same BT problem... they said they would have to send it away, and it should take them two weeks at least. As I can be one of the most annoying and persistent customers around, I wasn't too impressed and told them so! I told the lady on the front desk that flashing the phone would completely resolve the BT problem, and it would take a maximum of a few hours. She checked this with the techies, and she came out and said "Oh. Yes. You're right. Come back tomorrow"! I had my phone back by 6:00PM the next day!

I know that the battery problem may take a while to solve, but surely they could at least try flashing your phone and giving you a new battery? You gotta fight... for your right... to get proper customer service!

Thank you all for replaying. My phone is in Germany for repair,i'm in Macedonia,so only thing i can do is make a phone call, which i will eventually. It was very bad move by Nokia to release a phone without proper training for their emplyees.I just hope that i will have my phone back soon in full health.
Thanks guys.

Nah, I expect he'll overtake me in about a week on his return. (He's just over 200 behind)

He did visit the forum from one of those internet payphones just as he was leaving. But I haven't seen any posts since.

 WE ALL MISS YOU MUFFSTER!

I thought he would have been back on-line sometime this weekend.
