Whilst setting the time on my Nokia 6670 this morning, the handset crashed and re-tarted twice before settling down again. Once it was up and running again I noticed that the fonts have now become corrupt. They`ve gone from being the usual chunky, easy to see fonts to unusual scrawny, thin and small, hard to see fonts. I went to "settings" and selected "restore original phone settings", but it hasn`t restored the fonts. In the past couple of months I`ve had a few problems whereby the handset would crash and wouldn`t restart unless I pulled the battery, or it would restart for no apparent reason, sometimes in the middle of a text.
It`s a sim-free handset on Vodafone.
Any ideas/suggestions welcome
I`ll print that guide out and have a go later.
Would I be able to restore the system font with that
I think it could actually be the font rendering that`s corrupt. Before I try anything I`ll take it to the Nokia Service Centre to see if they need to flash the firmware.
-If u installed the font on MMC, try to remove the MMC or remove MMC and restore factory setting. I've no experience using font.
-Try to format ur phone.
