What type of Wavs to use?

Hello all, I am one of those happy 7650 users with a little question. Can I infra any wav files into the phone? Apparently, I did try some wavs and when I open the infrared to save it, I get an error. I hope I manage to get my point across, thanks for your help people, this forum is excellent.
