Yahoo has launched ZoneTag, a free S60 application to aid uploading of photos to Flikr, together with GPS or cell-tower-aided positioning information. Thanks, to Engadget Mobile for the heads-up. Here's their story.
ZoneTag is not "launched" by Yahoo... it's just a research prototype. This is also the reason ZoneTag is currently aimed for US users only. However, we are working to have ZoneTag supported in more countries as soon as possible. We love to travel. And we love our non-US users.
