When trying to sync my P910i via the Sync Station (USB cable) the only option available is sync is Windows address book (Contacts), all other options are greyed out and cannot be selected, ie calander, tasks.
I have Outlook 2003 on Windows XP SP2 Professional
Until one week ago everything worked fine.
I suspect an update from MS, or another possiblilty is an update from Norton's anti virus scanner or internet security products.
I have reloaded PC Suite but logic suggests that there is not a problem here given that sync with Outlook 2003 has been working OK.
Has a forum member recently experieced a similar problem, where Outlook 2003 is not "visible" to the PC Suite software ?
After running detect and repair in Outlook 2003 (Help) the problem was resolved. It would appear that either the .pst file or a registry had been altered/corrupted which prevented sync station "seeing" outlook. A good outcome but a lot of wasted time could have been saved if the developers of the software spent a little more time in providing meaningful error messages.
Interestly, the problem where the Outlook 2003 calendar was not updating on my iPod was also fixed.
