Symbian Walkman Announced with Sony Ericsson W950

Late on the first day of 3GSM, Sony Ericsson announced the W950 Walkman Smartphone. Adding the Walkman brand brings a distinct marketing edge to the music phone market, and while it may not look much in the pictures, in person it's a great looking phone. The phone itself is Symbain OS 9.1 using UIQ3. It comes with 4 gigabytes of internal storage (which will hold 4,000 tracks on SE's figures), and similar installed software to the M600i - if you're thinking that this is the M600i with Walkman and Megabase branding then you would be right, but you're forgetting the dedicated one-touch music keys and side volume controls augmenting the regular UIQ interface.

There is no camera in this device. Rumors mentions that phone body has space for camera module and it will be introduced later (end of year?) as updated version.

What about Memory Stick?

i have seen no mention of it having a memory stick slot. Before someone says 4GB should be plenty, you know the law: No matter how much space you have, you'll always need more 30%. Can anyone confirm if it does have a memory stick slot or not?

Video

This would be perfect if it had a video viewer. It mentions ability to get streaming video but is there a video player that will support playing uploaded video to the device?

Close to perfection but I have come to expect you cannot get everything you want quite yet.

Cool Se Vs N

Brilliant phone with Brilliant Features.. but it would never beat features and user interface like the Nokia N91 [http://www.nseries.com/n91].. This phone may seem much cooler with the touch screen but Nokia's are sleek and classy.. I am not saying this as a Nokia Fan it is a fact though.. Think a couple of times before buying it Folks!.. (plus no camera and i doubt very good phones get updated to an i unless its Nokia communicaters)..

check the stats

"Nokia's are sleek and classy"

Due to the Nokia having a hard drive instead of memory comprising its 4GB storage the N91 is bigger and heavier and I suspect wont last as long on a battery.
