Nokia recently gathered their leading N-Gage developers in a workshop session on S60 v3 and Symbian OS 9.1 - the next generation platform, as they describe it. That didn't say much.
Frankly, the one main benefit that the N-Gage has for gaming is that it's held like a controller. It doesn't matter how good a new gaming phone will be if its controls will be like a normal phone's. Sure, some games are possible with a normal layout, but it's a lot better to have a directional pad on one side and numbers on the other. I hope Nokia realises this, and will make such a successor for the N-Gage. I'll certainly consider buying one.

plz make another n-gage!!!
Just can't get it, why Nokia presents such a variety of different smartphones, and get's 'em to run N-gage games?!!?? Why don't they upgrade the current n-gage version!? If they want to sell more smartphones, I bet my ass on it that people would love to have a new version, with more memory, camera, etc!!! Imagine N70 as a gamin platform?!!?
