Ready to buy P800?

Who will purchase the P800 as soon as it hits the market?

Or...will wait for a while to see how it goes after it enters the market?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I will wait for a while till its price goes down a bit. What about you guys?

Why wait??? I think with all the delays it has to be a product with no major defaults ... maybe a couple of small probs but nothing big enough to wait when it hits the market!!

I'll buy it the day it's in the shops!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be getting one ASAP

If it turns out to be not so good, then I can sell it straight away or swap for a 9210 or something.

just a thought

I agree with both - a product that has been delayed for sooooo long, it just isn't likely to be an unstable or buggy.
That's why we've all been faithfully waiting for it in a first place - so that SE launches the most radical super-geek gadget that will cause nothing but envy in the industry and guaranteed attention to even it's most unattractive individuals.

It's likely though that the price at the beginning won't reflect it's true value - many retailers will take advantage of the incredible hype that potential P800 customers generated over the past year. Remember Apple Newton?
Some online sites like www.celluloco.com illustrate this case clearly - they will offer a phone to the highest bidder which starts at USD 1000 !! Be wise.

P800 by now is an inflated balloon. Chance is that it will fly high, very high indeed once in the sky. Other option is far cloudier.

Balloons burst, don't they?

GhostDog will become famous soon enough
I'd definitely buy it if a could afford it,but 3-4 months ago i payed 700 euroes for Nokia 7650,like Figurativespeech said,p800s price will be much higher then its real value,so i'll wait i while.
-edit-
Well,i'd definitely not refuse it if someone is kind enough to give one for free. (any SE sales menager reading this?)

Yes, as with all products that get "hype" before their release it is likely to be a high price on first release, but after a few months that will decrease.

Heh heh... we have no other choice but Faithfully wait

Balloons burst? You are implying Sendo Z100? heh heh

Take buying Nokia 9210 for example, I have been faithfully waiting for it hit the market for about 6-7 months when it was first known to the public in 2000 November by Nokia Press.

However, P800 is worthy of waiting.

It is forbidden in Saudi Arabia? Why?
I have read a news article regarding Nokia 7650 the other day, it said that some government authorities from Mainland China think that 7650 is a spy device for it has a hidden camera. According to Mainland China's law, ordinary people can't possess a spying device like hidden camera.

Well, personally, they are over-reacted. 7650---> Spy device?

I honestly think that the governments are going over board with things.
The P800 and the 7650 are great phones and what on earth do they think would happen when someone with a camera phone comes into the government offices....will they shoot them because they think that they are taking photos of the papers that are supposed to be top secret?.....HA and then they find out that they were nothing but tourists!@!!!! or why do they ban the phones to some people like those whoi have criminal records and make the laws for carrying a gun apply to the phones too!!!!
I have one thing to say.....Outrageous!!!!!

Sometime i think that we as humans, we go just completely over board...
