Unlocked N70 - Web Connetion Help Required

I recently got a nokia N70 on vodafone, I requested the unlock code from them and it came today. I have unlocked the phone and my o2 payg sim works fine. There is one slight problem however, when I try to connect to the internet it comes up with:

Packet Data : Packet Data connection not available.

Could anybody suggest how I can get the web to work?

I presume your N70 has all its 'Access Point' (internet) settings geared up for Vodafone. You're going to have to define another Access Point that has settings for O2, you'll then be able to switch between the two Access Points depending on which sim card you have in the phone. *EDIT* I just remembered that your O2 payg sim would also need access to GPRS or 3G services.

You may be able to get the O2 settings from their website or from www.nokia.co.uk

Vodafone keeps telling me hey are awaiting the unlock codes from nokia,whose data base is down..interestingly nokia themselves tell me they have nothing to do with it,how long does it take to get this code out of vodafone,is it one code for all phones,or is each one its own case,i am in states now for a months work,and had to buy another handset to avoid roaming charges as they are taking so long,thinking of dropping my tarif to minimum and getting new network..any help appreciated.

the codes are specific to the imei of the phone.nokia have nothing to do with the codes since its vodafone who have locked the handset.if you have paid & are still within contract then i surgest you demand the codes of vodafone otherwise youll cut your service short
