Well I've had my N70 on Orange for approx 2 weeks now and the phone is great except for one major issue...
The phone keeps losing the supplied Orange 64MB RS-DV-MMC card. :frown: 😡 This seems to be purely at random too, first the phone will think the card is corrupted and if left long enough the phone won't then see the MMC card at all. If I power cycle the phone then 90% of the time the memory card will be seen again for a time before going AWOL again.
If I take the memory card out of the phone and use my PC with card reader then all the data is there and visible without any issues. I've tried re-formatting the memory card hoping this may solve my problems but it hasn't.
BTW, I can't use the PC suite to make a backup or use the phone to reformat the RS-DV-MMC card as the phone will just reboot, see the following...

Would the '*#7370#' suggestion in the thread above cure my problems? Actually, thinking back on it I think my problems started from when I first tried using PC Suite, before that the phone seemed okay. I'll give OCS a call in the next few days as this is becoming annoying.
Anyone else on Orange having similar problems?

I've not on orange but I had a simular problem with my N70 where it wouldnt reconise the card.
Mine was a fault with the phone and I got it replaced.
Have you tried your mem cad in another phone and tried another mem card in your card. That's how I determined it was my phone and not the card.
What is your firmware, being orange I'm sure it will be different to everyone else's. Sounds like there's a conflict which is causing the mem card not to function correctly.

Thanks for the feedback JimBob,
I'm afraid I don't have access to another phone but I do have a PC with card reader and the card has always worked 100% when I've accessed it via the laptop PC. I also don't have another memory card to try with the phone. So I can't be 100% sure if the phone is at fault or if the card is faulty. Given my observations so far, I'm thinking that the phone is the cause of my issues.
Firmware is:
V 2.0537.1.7
18-09-05
RM-84

It does sound like the phone at fault and not the card.
My next suggestion would be to visit a Nokia Repair shop where they could test the card and phone.
