Could you post a couple of Screen shots please? Or is it pretty much the same design as the previous version?

I got excited then, I didn't read the SOON bit before I came in to read.

Have you tried it with MSN yet?, I'd be very interested to see some screen shots, but I suppose that's not allowed. :-?

Any thoughts on the realease date?

the uic is very much the same as the earlier version except that now msn and multimedia instant files sending added. Shapeservices said they will make this beta test shorter than the previous version, I guess it will be out pretty soon.

The design (little bit changed have trade mark and icons of statuses) is more advanced, when in v 1.0.
Also, IM+7650 v.2 interface has some new menus(such as "MSN" and "send IMMS/File").
MSN works fine and stable.

Hope they have corrected that _really_ annoying "browsing through all the
menus to connect" thing that they have now. and not having to have a made
accounts to all IM services to be able to press "Connect All" :x
That is about the only thing i dont like about it

This is a basic question to users of IM+ v1 & 2

If your phone is on the standby app ("phone") does it display a notification onscreen & emit a sound when somebody sends you a new message?

Does the same happen when somebody in your 'buddy list' logs on?

in order to know if there is anyone of your buddy logon/message, definately u have to logon to icq all the time thru gprs and then when u r in standby mode any message/loging on will alert you, 1 sound for logon and 1 sound for message.

Is there a visual indication of a new message though?

It's no big deal but it would make the program far more usable. My phone is on silent for most of the day so i'd only notice if something popped up on screen. Maybe you could suggest it to the developers when you next send feedback?

What are the chances of IM supporting Yahoo! in future versions? Me ( i think quite a few others as well) am desperate to have Yahoo messenger on the go. Things are compounded by Yahoo not being available with my service provider even on SMS:( , and messenger on wap is not of much use without the ability to know when there's an incoming message
