ogg player won't recognise id tags

My ogg player won't play any of my files in the right order on my N6680. It doesn't copy them onto the phone in order either. And when I convert them using dmb poweramp on my pc, they are also stored in the hd in a random order!!!

Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Thanks

Can't help with dbPowerAmp, but I've had great results with encoding using CDex...

Erm.. using OGG player??

Seriously that was my exact point in this thread

The N90 player is a miles better option and it works a treat on the 6680/6630.

And CDEx is my ripper of choice too.

Cheers,

Chris

OggPlay is better, IMHO, because it plays Ogg Vorbis files. Without it, you're restricted to bulky MP3 or AAC files. Woth DV RS-MMC being restricted and more expensive than standard RS-MMC or MMC, having twice as much music far outweighs any cosmetics on the interface.

Til OGG becomes more widespread in the public domain I'll stick with MP3. It's too much hassle converting stuff from format to format.
Fine if you're ripping your own CDs but if you're a serial downloader it's a pain. Buying another MMC is the easy way to overcome the space issue

But the interface is not just cosmetics - you want an album to play in the order it was recorded not on a whim of the player!

Cheers,

Chris

My personal opinion abt these two players ogg and n90 mp3 player as I have both installed on my mobile

The ogg player ROCKS

The mp3 is really good better than the stock real player

My Choice be the ogg player, I can have more music in my mmc with almot the same qulity of mp3

Eg 4 mb mp3 = 1mb ogg with almost the same quality (64kbps)

Could you send me the player please cookie-66@tiscali.co.uk

I am trying to use CDEx as my ripper, but it will not recognise my dvd drive(well it won't recognise if a cd is in it) anyone got any ideas please? I have tried the trouble shooting from the CDEx site
