there seriously should have been something for the faithful overseas members of AAS. I did mention this at the last pub meeting announcments and was told that it will be taken into account. Now i want an AAS shirt Rafe!!!

Zain,
While I in part share your concerns, we've allways said if those of you abroad can get together the momentum to start one of these meets going, then we'd be there 100% behind you. But given that Symbian invite the whole Symbian ecosystem to London,we kind of have to follow that!

i seriously wish i could even hold such meetings abroad but alas, for the time being it seems much like a dream.
Rafe,
i guess the overseas members would even love something virtual! how about streaming the pub meeting live! :-) or, the ngage competition you have arranged, make it virtual too. Apps can always be given away online. Also, not just about giving away, make us feel we're there too!
I really appreciate you guys taking it into consideration.

yeah,for me too the symbian meet is a distant reality...i badly want to make it there but one thing that zainman suggests you can do,stream it live or offer it for download..
else,from nxt yr onwards connect the meetings in every country,that way you get to travel a lot  meet all the symbian community members  and it gives us a chance to take part in an international event,hope you might consider this..
