Is there a prob with Firmware 5.22 in the UK

Hi

I just called Carphone Warehouse in Edinburgh to arrange to have my 9300 upgraded to V5.22 but the tech I spoke to said that he'd upgraded 2 phones already and both of them refused to power up after the upgrade. He claims it's a problem with 5.22 but I'm not sure as others in the US and EU have had it done without any problems. Wondering if he just hasn't done it correctly.

Anyone else heard about this? And if it's not an issue, does anyone know of another Nokia service centre for firmware upgrades in Edinburgh, Landalow at Loanhead have closed.

I think there are problems with the uploading process, as it took 2 attempts on 2 different days to get mine to work,

I've got 5.22 and it boots everytime,

To me it does appear to be more stable,

Calendar appears to be quicker,

And Blank opereator logo's,

Do you have any idea what the problems are and how they got around them?

Could really do with the "Mark as read" option for email in 5.22 since PC Suite doesn't seem to be able to identify a read email from an unread email when sync'ing with Outlook so just marks them all as unread.

I don't know how they got around it, just knew they had to contact the tech guy at Nokia who deals with their firmware upgrading stuff,
