Your name instead of OpLogo

Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to have your name in the the same font as the OpLogo? So instead of it saying Orange/O2/T-Mobile/Vodaphone, it would say *my name* I don't want a logo I would just like to use the original font... i think it looks nice.

Cheers

Yeah, this is theoretically possible.. But you've got to work a little bit for it..
This is what you need:

*Nokia7650 ( I assume you've got this allready.. )
*Photo editing prog (like photoshop, paint shop pro or even the Paint prog in Windows is enough)
*Bluetooth or IR connection to the PC (or you need to be able to connect to Internet from your phone)
*Ximplify SeleQ program ( http://www.ximplify.com -trial is ok)

First you need to download and install Ximplify Seleq. Then go in to the photo editing program and make a pic with your name in it.It needs to be size 97x25 for best result. Save it as .jpg and upload to your phone.Find it in Ximplify Seleq and press the joystick center to get the popup menu.Choose "Set as Op Logo" and voila! The phone restarts and your name is shining on top of the screen...

Hope this helps..

RayGun, that's not what he means, he means his name in text, not graphics .. the same way the operator names are written, they are not pictures but text.

Even if it is so, if you use a similar simple font to write your name in that image, you won't be able to tell the difference afterwards, will you?
But why would someone want their name written using such a simple font anyway?

Well I had tried that earlier but did not work

Using SeleQ. I selected an image and said i want to set as operator logo. SeleQ said that it would need to restart the phone. When the phone restarted it was still displaying my providers name and not the new logo image. I then went through the file system and found that the file I had selected was there in the operator logo directory - it also had the name 404_11_0.bmp

Do please help me and let me know what i can try out

Thanks

Saurabh
