Symbian S90 uses TrueTypeFont(*.ttf) so you can just copy one of your Windows fonts that support arabic

Goto Control Panel--->Fonts, copy an arabic supported (e.g "Times New Roman") font to your 7710\system\fonts (create it if it doesn't exist) with powerfile then restart your device

Dear friend,
pls help me, I don't know which serie support TTF font, which is not, if a serie cannot support TTF font how can we do to use this font(non TTF)?. And further more I wonder why the S90 support TTF, how about S90's mecanism??.
Please give me your idea or if possible give me some tips or some Url relating to these problems.
Thanks before your helps
Best,
Sochan.

7710 Arabic Font
Dear mht220 - i did exactly as you mention below and have the following problem:
I created C:\sysyem\Fonts and added the fonts, restarted & fonts not available. It did not work.
All the other fonts are in a directory: Z:(Rom Drive)\system\Fonts
Unfortunately, i cannott add the fonts to Z:\system\Fonts
as it is Read Only attribute and it is not allowing to turn read only off.
What is the secret? how did you get it running.
Am running Version
V 03.26.0
15-02-05
RM-12
Any input will be greatly appreciaated

Ez
Device backup is copying all C:\ contents to the Memory Card, under a directory called Backup!? there you can go to \Native\System\ and create the Fonts directory, copy to it Tahoma.ttf then Restore.
1- Do device Backup i.e. backup all from 7710
2- Connect to your memory card and look for Bckup folder
3- go to Native\System\
4- create directory Fonts
5- Copy the ttf file to it.
6-Do device Restore.
