I'm considering buying 3230. But I've read on many forums that mp3 played is only mono and not stereo. I want to know what is the difference between the two ? Is it only the beats ?
Also, can somebody please record an mp3 as played on 3230 so that I can listen as to how good (or bad) it sounds on ths phone ?
You can't really record an MP3 played on a 3230 and then play the recording on some other, entirely different, device and expect to hear how it sounds on a 3230. Well, it might be possible if both the recording and reproduction equipment used were really good (professional quality equipment).
Of a stereo MP3 recording, the 3230, if it is like the 6260 (which I believe it is), plays only one audio channel (it doesn't even mix the two channels and play them both simultaneously through different earpieces). Easy to verify with an MP3 file with clearly distinct left & right audio channels/tracks.
I had motorola a835 previously. I've heard mp3 on it and it sounds good. What I'd like to know is whether there is a significant noticeable difference while hearing mp3 on mono and stereo ?
