P910i Cheap at Voda UK, plus connectivity problems
First of all Vodafone UK high street shops have the P910i for £50 on £35pcm+ tariffs and £100 on £20pcm+ tariffs...think it's 18 months only but it doesn't actually say it on the board. That said, you also get their stop the clock thingy whereby in the evenings you use 3 minutes for every 60 you spend on the phone, plus free texts for 6 months. Didn't seem like a bad deal to me!
Trying to connect it to my pc has proven more difficult, have followed all the advice from threads here, plus on google searches, to no avail. Win XP SP2 just doesn't want my PC to see my phone. Have downloaded a beta m-router (v3.1.0.7) which I'll try out tonight and report on any improvement, it says it has better connectivity with firewalls and operating systems, so that has to be worth a shot!!!

Woo! As posted in the sticky thread on connectivity issues, it worked first time! Installed the Beta mrouter from http://developer.intuwave.com/Downlo...authorize_form and installed it, didn't bother disabling my firewall or anything, it worked without changing any settings!
Now I'll just have to wait and see at what point the beta decides to act beta-ish!
