6600 edge and mp3 ringtones

i heard the 6620 can use mp3 as ringtones. how about 6600? is there way to make it play mp3 ringtones?

i know about that wave as a ringtones, but it use bigger file size if we compare to a same quality mp3 sound.

about edge, why does the 6620 as it? because they use it more in america?

what is the latest firmware for 6600 now?

6620 has EDGE not because they use it more in America, but because it is a phone with a different/newer radio module than the 6600.

There are now better (than the 6620) phones with EDGE and 3G (WCDMA), such as the 6630 or 6680.

The 6600 you can't change to support MP3 ringtones (you can install a separate MP3 player, that will play MP3 files - in mono -, but they won't enable MP3 ringtones). For that, you need a newer phone (7610, 6260, 6670, 3230, 6630 or 6680, for example).

No, the 6600 cannot be upgraded to a 6620. As phones they may have some external resemblance, but internally they are different phones using different processors and cellular modems and other hardware components, and they are based on different versions of Series 60 (6600 on 2.0 and 6620 on 2.1).

there is a method to get a same size of wav file as the mp3 u listen to.
u can use the nokia pc suite to convert it to wav format with same quality and size as the mp3.

Go to, e.g., www.f-secure.com site and find the clean-up instructions there in the virus descriptions.
