Is it possible to move apps from the memory card to the phone? I've looked in the app manager and noticed a few of the apps are installed on the memory card, but I want to get the apps on the phone, so I can clean up my memory card for other stuff...

Yes, you can remove the apps from the card and then reinstall on the phone (you are asked phone or card when installing) ... but you will crunch your phone memory ...
how to i get to de-install them? Bearing in mind I can only access the card from a card reader?
Just looked on the memory card and there's an Apps folder inside the system folder, presumably I can copy these off to my disk, for back up, but can they be simply dragged back to the memory cards system/apps folder for re-installation? Basically I just want to make sure I have a back up of them and can get them back should I wish to.

never mind, I found in there also there's an 'Install' folder with all the .sis files in there.
