Which "the radio software" do you mean, exactly?

There are apps like AVEC Radio, which you can find in the shop (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/), but it and others use audio streaming through the packet data network. It can be very expensive depending on how your operator bills for it.

There is no software to make the phone receive real FM or AM radio broadcasts. It needs additional hardware. If you want that, buy a headset with FM radio.
