I've just ordered a Dane Elec 512mb card - I only got experience with this brand from the memory modules in my PC and they working fine, so I'm guessing they're good enough for my 6670 as well...

Will let you know how it works in a couple of days.

Hi Lewis,

Don't try kingston RSMMC(although cheaper), it will not work with 6670(compatibility issues).
I know 6670 can support 512MB RSMMC cos some of my friends use it. Haven't seen ppl using 1GB yet. I am using NCP 256MB. Cos using a higher MB will slow down the phone a little bit when loading since more things(files) to read. If u seldom watch smartmovies in ur phone, I recommend 256MB will be sufficient for u. Mp3 in 6670 does not sounds good with mono output on one ear only.

In sg here, normally ppl get only KingMax or NCP for nokia phones. Don't try PQI although it works but I have seen a lot of ppl complaining that it hangs the phone.

thanks alot kkboy,
that sure was helpful

ha i did a whole day homework on rsmmc cards today and went shopping in amk and sim lim. i felt like vomitting at some times... simply too much effort spent on this shit.

anyway... hope my conclusions here prove useful to u guys...

if u guys are intending to buy and rsmmc... get NCP ...
i gonna get rsmmc 512/256 from costronic at sim lim on thursday... today freaking out of stock. it has 5 year warranty.
256 mb costs $50 max
512 mb costs $89/$80 max -> i could not make out what i heard.

NCP seems established enough to me. pamphlets and all. ^ ^...
thank you all for contributing to my decision. hope it all works fine on thursday.

Well finally got it in the mail earlier today.

Been working with it for some time now and got no problems at all.
So so far I'd recommend this card.

- A funny thing I've noticed, is that the phone actually boots up faster with this card in it, instead of the original 64MB from Nokia. Weird...
