Teleca joins UIQ Selected with PC Suite

UIQ has announced that Teleca has become a member of the UIQ 3.0 Selected program. The UIQ Selected program aims to speed up development of the UIQ phone bu providing off the shelf components. Teleca will be submitting it's PC Connectivity Suite foe acceptance in the program. The PC Connectivity Suite provides a range of connectivity services for a mobile user, within the areas Synchronisation, Device Management, Multimedia and Personalisation.

UIQ Technology Selects Teleca

Ronneby, Sweden – February 11, 2005 - UIQ Technology today announces that Teleca has become a member of the UIQ Selected program for UIQ 3.0. The product to be submitted for UIQ acceptance is Teleca’s PC Connectivity Suite.

UIQ Selected for UIQ 3.0 is a program created by UIQ Technology and is designed to facilitate and speed up the creation of mobile phones based on the UIQ platform. When developing new mobile phones based on the UIQ platform, UIQ Selected enables a reduction of development costs, a more effective integration process and a shorter time-to-market.

The PC Connectivity Suite is a software package for mobile phone manufacturers that want to enhance the mobile phone experience by adding functionality on the PC. The PC Connectivity Suite provides a range of connectivity services for a mobile user, within the areas Synchronisation, Device Management, Multimedia and Personalisation.

i m adeel i m studying engineering and this is my 1st year... i have to prepare a report over an operating system (symbian) but i dont know much about it
i have searched alot but what i found is all about mobiles.... i need to study the operating system..
my requirments are:
. evaluatin of operating system(symbian)
. process management
. scheduling Algorithms
. memory management
. Advantages and disadvantages
. Advance features
