When i try to open the app. manager in tools folder in my 7610, it says "scanning memory" as usual before displaying.....but now, that's it. It's not doing anything else. Just displayong that "scanning memory" thing. It doesn't give any errors too. Just keeps on going....
What do i do?
How can i correct this without formatting my memory card??
i think u must be using a really large mmc and have alot of apps on it? am i right? try waiting as long as u can and see if it works..
No zainman, I have only a 64mb card which came with the phone. And also, i haven't installed many softwares too. Can i repair only the application manager?
install FEXplorer and then go to E>system>Apps and remove any suspicious apps u want, anything u think that might be causing the problem, just delete the whole folder by the name of the app and that app will be removed, if it doesnt work then try formatting ur phone first by a soft format, then a hard-format if that doesnt work. and if that doesnt work either, it will work

You can try removing the mmc card and then turning on the phone and see. Then reinsert the mmc card and try again. When I select app. Manager, there is no memory scanning, it immediately displays the apps on the phone.
