Hey i have a problem with my nokia 6600.
For some odd reason i cant send any MID ringtones (polyphonic ringtones).
I select a tone to send and a error message comes up saying
"unable to insert. object corrupted or format not supported"
Is it because my firmware is old???
my firmware is
v 3.421

well what it said in my 7610 was cannot send protected item :s u need Fexplorer, rename the .mid extension to the ringtone to anything u want( i usually remove it) and then send but this way only other symbian phones will be able to recognize the tone and thus receive it
yes but i think that's not the problem. i have the same firmware, and i never got a error while sending a .mid- file. perhaps your .mid-file is really corupt. try it with a different one

ive tryed with all my .MID files and the same thing happens.
also i tryed using the fexplorer to rename the files like zainman said but still that error message comes up!
Does anyone know what to do???
is it only my frimware that has this problem???
If someone has a higher firmware than mine (V3.42.1) can they please tell me if it can send because if u can i will just update the firmware

use profi explorer it works fine to send all type of files ive got firmwave 4.09.1
