New: Bemused for the 7650 - Control WinAmp with your 7650
Sometimes something comes along which you cant help but say - wow too! Bemused is one such thing. Bemused is a system, authored by Ashley Montanaro, which allows you to control your music collection from your phone, using Bluetooth. It requires a Nokia 7650 and a PC with a Bluetooth adapter running WinAmp. You can do the following with Bemused.
Features:
* Browse your music collection on your phone
* Play files in any format supported by WinAmp - including MP3s, CDs, MIDIs, etc.
* Pause, stop, rewind, fast-forward etc.
* Add songs to the playlist and use shuffle and repeat
* Download songs to your phone (supported formats: WAV and MIDI)
* Customise the look of the system with skins
Bemused is OpenSource Freeware (GPL), and you can download the installation files, sources files and additional WinAmp skins from the Bemused website. Download and be impressed. Ask your friends - can your phone do this!?

Magic!! I only wish the 7650 had more memory! There's some great apps coming out and I want them all at the same time :-?

Whoa!
All I can say is this is a truly amazing piece of work for the 7650  Really caught my colleagues in work un aware... My PC starts playing mp3 files "all by itself".. I walk in the office clutching my phone (no big deal), then I play other tracks while they look on in awe
None of them had a clue I was using my phone over it's BT link to remotely control Winamp :>
Ace lil prog, I'd gladly donate "something" to the author...
