Well, the picture quality is pretty shitty.
It doesn't give much to the decision to buy it. Anyway, I want PDA and a phone in one box. Then again, maybe not. We'll have to wait and until then, many others might appear on the market. Good luck SE.

My german is not very good but I understand that only those pictures that say "... mit P800" where the ones taken "...with the P800" so at least we have the small consolation of knowing that while we keep waiting and waiting there is not someone who got himself already 2 off those.

Well, if you don't know enough about photography, don't give your comments. Actually, the colours are fantastic. You see the photos blur probably because the photographer placed the camera too close to the object. If you look at the pic carefully, the backgrounds are usually in focus. Understandable for a non-focus digital camera.

anthonyjcrocks, too bad for you that you're such an idiot. I still think that pictures are pretty shitty compared to any useful digital camera.
That's my opinion. So, you're having a real problem to cope with that? You can have your own opinion. It doesn't bother me.
BTW, how will you stuff your boot up my ass.... - I'd really like to know. 8)
Anyway, despite shitty camera I'll buy P800 anyway. Though Loox doesn't look bad, but ... it's not a phone.

I played with LOOX yesterday. Nice but ... it's still only a PDA - flat but still too large to fit in the pocket, no GSM (GSM attachment will make it bulkier). And it has no camera ;-)
I hope I won't have to wait for P800 until 2003 - despite shitty photos. ;-)

The LOOX wasn't really intendid to be a mobile phone, just like the old iPAQ with the GSM sleeve. Way too bulky if you ask me (or anyone on the block) but pretty cool if you throw it in a back pack (but that denies the whole purpose of making small mobile phones )
There is a SD card Digital camera coming on the way, for iPAQ only, but more digi camera tech to come!
Its a mobile phone/PDA/digital camera crossover, so you can expect it to be mostly mobile phone, then secondly pda, and leastly digital camera, compared to 4.0 megapixel digital cameras around it is bad quality, but try to compare a Thrust SCC (fastest thing on land) with a McLaren F1, the McLaren is clearly the best in its class (but not anymore i guess, with the Enzo Ferrari arriving) ANYWAYZ, the point is, the P800 gives you outstanding results for a **mobile phone**

Well, if you look carefully picture of Side 3, you'll notice the green sticker that sony puts on it's prototypes. So this one is not a final version !
It is one more prototype with buggy features and so on.
