SymbianWare releases PowerDay for 9500
Let the battle of Today apps begin! Having all your current appointments, task, messages etc. in one customisable view is not a common feature on Symbian phones. This is where third party software houses comes in. SymbianWare is first fighter out presenting PowerDay:
"PowerDay is a powerful and unique information management tool that allows you to overview and to work with your daily events, appointments, tasks and messages in a single and great looking view. PowerDay is really clear and easy to use but at the same time it is a very powerful information managing tool. PowerDay is a fully customizable application that allows a user to change background image, colours and application appearance directly on the device in fast and easy way."

Hurray! Finally... Let the battle begin
Anyway, it's decently priced IMO. The only thing I miss (w/o having tried it) is other Languages. I'd like a Dutch version...

Well, you could always contact SymbianWare and offer to translate the app... If you do, you'll probably get the app for free too.

Watch your battery
Hi,
I tired this program last week and found it to be stable and resonably useful so I left it running in the background (it would be handy if you could configure a hotkey to bring it to the front) however I noticed that my battery life seemed to be drastically reduced (charging every day as opposed to every 3 days). At first I thought I'd left a wifi session on or adjusted the backlight to max but these were ok, I then looked at my list of running apps and terminated Powerday, since then battery life has returned to normal. When running in the foreground you can see the screen refreshing at your preset update rate, I can only assume that it continues to do this whilst in the background thus using up extra CPU time and therefore power, even when the device is 'sleeping'.
Regards
Jim

I haven't got the same experience. I have PowerDay running all the time, which has no (notticable) effect on the battery life.
P.S. you can configure a hotkey, just put it under the "My Own"-key, atleast that's what I did
