I posted this problem months ago, and I wrote to Nokia who had already replaced my phone free of charge. Nothing happened, and it causes chaos with my agenda - such chaos that I am not sure which diary entries if changed back correctly and which were permanently changed.
My contract is up this month and I think I am going to try to find an alternative.
I have had nothing but problems with most of the apps on 9500 and I agree with other posts saying my old Psion and my 9210i was far more reliable, and free from bugs.
