Operator logos...can someone please help me out here...
I'm hoping someone here can help me out with this...basically I've made a nice op.logo for Orange, but I'm having an issue with the background - when I created the image it had a transparent background, but when it's converted to a bmp (which as I understand it it HAS to be), the background gets translated as white.
What I need is...can someone who's got either a screen capture program or who has got into the mbm files, PLEASE send me the background which should be appearing around the op.logo for Sendo's Silver Lime theme. I would download a screen grab prog myself, but at the moment can't upload apps to my phone (because of where I am).
Thanks guys...I promise to post the logo here once it's done...

As promised...here's a logo for Orange, along with a PSD file so you can alter the text to your heart's desires... (the colour isn't quite right on this one, but it's close enough not to notice...

One more thing you'll need to know is how to get the phone to recognise the logo...
First, you need to make a folder on the C: drive (if it doesn't exist) - make C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo
You put the logos inside this folder. They have to be BMP files, and it appears for the X that they have to be 24bit colour.
NOTE:
- size of these pics must be 97x25 pixel
- name of pictures must be the ICC ID of the operator, with this syntax:
XXX_YY_0.bmp (so, for example, for Orange UK it will be 234_33_0.bmp)
Then simply store your pic in there and restart the phone.
A full list of operator codes is available in this thread: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ead.php?t=1255

Why do all that when you can use Fexplorer that does the trick no problem at all just by selecting set as opp logo!!!!

...because this way, you have more controll over what's going on, and you can easily reverse it by deleting / renaming the bmp file.

Correct!
Because FExpl. does nothing else than, picking up the provider id, renaming the file and place it in the directory!

I've made a T-Mobile (BEN) logo, usable with the Dutch T-Mobile / Ben operator

Nothing , it's just the most convenient way to do this. I really don't understand why everybody seems to play around with the files, looks for id, etc....
