Wouldn´t it be dangerous for the device? Perhaps the TFT and other components are very fragile and breakable..

they don't seem to be fragile, or mine shouldn't be working now
I find though that until a vibrator is available low bassy kick drums have a similar result.

I'm still on it mate, trying to find something to hit the resonant frequency of the handset is a bit of a challenge, especially when I've been busy with other things too. Will keep you posted.

Did you ever complete the file for vibrating alerts? Any more news on vibrating batteries since December 2001?

Vibrating alert is one feature the 9210 lacks ,if it only worked when the 9210 was shut would make it perfect as i miss many calls when its in my back pocket in a bar etc...

If any one gets any ideas or details on where to buy one i'ii be one of the first to buy one.

Any advice on the above would be very much appreciated.

to Flipside,

it would be much appreciated if you can make available the vibrating (low resonant) ringtone. TIA.

Only one problem, it wasn't the bass it was responding too, I found later it was the high pitched vocal in the track. /C Other problem is that it isn't very powerful and easilly missed if you are walking.

I was using the hardcore remix of Castles In the Sky (the accappella or original should work as it was the vocal at the right frequency), but to be loud enough to cause noticable vibration you'll get enough stares anyway....

keep on working, it will be cool to have a wav file that serves as a vibrate profile.
