master reset

Hi, what is the dode for a Master Reset on the 6260 ?

I was playing Agile Messenger and suddenly i got some error saying that some app closed, i continued and when i try to exit from AM, my phone crashed, i had to remove the battery in order for it to turn off. When i turn it on again, all my programs were gone, i acnt even open the Themes app, but if i remove the MMC card i can go into themes and the 3 original themes are there, so i guess i have some problem with the MMC card, its the original 32mb that came with the phone.

When i put the card back to the phone, same thing happens, cant open themes, and using file manager i can see files and folders in the card, but when i try to open the pictures it will not open. My MP3 ring tone is there and its working..

I really dont know what happened, so before i format the card i would like to try a full reset of the phone to return it to original form.

Whats the code?

power the phone off, press and keep down the keeys green/talk + ’3’ + ’*’, - power on the phone. release the keys when the formatting starts.

Remember, this will wipe everything on the phone memory and put it back to the factory defaults.

Yes it works, but it will wipe everything on your phone, putting it back to the state it was in when it came from the factory.

the main different is that is you use the code,it will prompt for confirmation first and you will need to enter the password (by default is 12345). If you use the button,it will start reseting the phone without confirmation.

there are actually another code that can be use,* to # 7780 #.The button is the 'haredest' one.so maybe you want to try with the code first and then the button,
