I don't get it. If you have you Powerbook connected to WIFI, why not also the 9500? Why the 9500 VIA the Powerbook?

I'm guessing his powerbook is plugged into the net connection, and he wants to use the powerbook as a router.

Exactly... PB plugged with a ISDN modem (soon with HDSL 2Mbit) and configured as router.

Ok, so you have no WIFI router and want to use only two WIFI systems : The one in your PowerBook and the one in the 9500?
The 9500 sees the Apple. ( tools/control panel/Wireless lan/Tab networks)

Can you give the setting you put in the Powerbook?

I did the same (be it with fixed ethernet LAN to WIFI, no WEP) and I have the same problem. Other computers can use the Apple and browse via the Apple. Only the 9500 cannot. The 9500 sees the Apple however and offers me the option to select it when using Opera, but then nothing happens. Very strange.

Till now I cannot help you, but at least you are not alone.

P.s. To prevent warnings from others: I play without WEP only temporarely.
