Nokia 6630 release date

Hi Everyone.

Just wanted to give you guys some news, I rang Carphone Warehouse today regarding the availability of the 6630, they told me they will have stock of it next week on Wednesday (24.11.04) priced at £399.99, and I am not lying.

1) Is that price with contract or without?
2) What company/ies? Vodaphone? O2?
2) Will the phones be branded eg with all the Vodaphone bloatware, or plain ones?

Price is for sim free handset, without contract

ordered mine today,
only had 2 left when i ordered.
vodafone xnet200 phone cost me £150
have 2 weeks to return it if i dont like it or a cheaper one comes out.
it should be in my hands by 12noon saturday, so heres hoping

I just received my Nokia 6630 sim free today, When I insert my Orange contract sim inside, I get a "3G" sign in the left hand top corner of the phone, the problem of this is that I tend to loose my Network Coverage signal cos of this, I rang Orange they said there is a network problem, if I insert the same sim into my other phone the Network coverage is good, no loss, any ideas anyone?

same place as me.
they fogot to put a sim pack in with my order, it is on the invioce, but i luckily had a voda sim to try anyway.
they arent open til monday so i will have to wait to lay into them
still happy with the handset itself

Have you put a orange sim card into your phone to try out the same problem or not let us know. Thanks

Hi it says on livetelecoms site that this is "pre-launch stock" does this mean it's not the final "version"?

donno, it could just be that a limited number have been alowed out until they can get enough ready for shipping for al that want one,
mine works fine

it was edited on the phone

Just came out of Carphone warehouse after they guy told me there is no such phone!!
Said I must be thinking of the 6230.
