Some more to be said, I'm afraid: Things are, unfortunately, a bit more complicated than that; http://www.mmca.org/press/NewBranding.pdf

The "MMCmobile" branding of RS-MMC cards seems to support two operational voltage ranges: 1.65-1.95V and 2.7-3.6V.

As far as I know. for the 6630 you will need this type of RS-MMC (namely, it must handle the lower voltage range). In other words, RS-MMC cards that only support 2.7-3.6V will not work on the 6630. So, when you look for an RS-MMC, ask for "MMCmobile" versions (if the seller doesn't know anything about dual voltage stuff).

Hmmm... Thanks for the information N/A.... But i don't understand one point; if both 7610 and 6630 supports 1.8/3v RS-MMCs.. Why i need another type of RS-MMC for 6630? I just paid 85$ for my 2.7-3.6v ATP 512mb RS-MMC and i don't want to pay another 85$ :((

Some RS-MMC cards may only be of the single-voltage 3.3V kind (without the 1.8V range at all). The 6630 reader works only with 1.8V (the MMCmobile dual-voltage kind of RS-MMC).

It probably is, if its package uses the "MMCmobile" name/label.

If it doesn't, it still can be. Then the ways to find out are:
1: Ask the manufacturer
2: Try it in a 6630 and see if it works or not

I work for Nokia with Nokia 6630, and can tell you 100% sure thtat if your RSMMC card only support the 3v stuff and not 1,8V. It won't work in 6630.

However I'm myself looking for a 512MB DV RS-MMC. Do anyone know were I can get it?

Cheers

We can use DV RS-MMC or MMCmobile type RS MMC cards with 6630.. Samsung,ATP,Kingmax ... announced their MMCmobile type RS-MMC cards but i think we cannot find them at least 1 or 2 months.. We have to use 64 mb Nokia's original DV RS-MMCs.
