requesting info/recommendations on seleQ from users

ok just seen seleQ product info on Ximplifys website. from the description it looks worth getting

particular features taht interest me are the search feature when using the filemanager feature along with these:

Activate and deactivate infra-red as and when required with minimal fuss
Automate the keylock function to enable the keyboard to lock automatically on closure thereby bypassing the annoying “Lock Keypad? message.

Just downloaded and tried the demo, i dont understand where the minimal fuss in activating infra red is?!?! I have to be using seleQ to turn it on in the first place also the automatic keylock function only works while i am within seleQ, is this the only place where it works? The automatic keylock is a feature i like but to use it i have to leave seleq open, i'm lost :/

Am i using this software incorrectly or have i overlooked the reason for its creation? help me out hehee

Thnks

[edit] ok just goin around the filemanager thing and c: drive was selcted and i went to the memory view option and selected 'Compress' went back to memory view option to see if i could uncompress but the option was still 'compress'. Have i compressed the drive or am i lucky that it didnt let me?

Yes you need to leave seleq open in order for it to auto lock the keypad for you, but this is not a problem as you can leave it running in the background.

Re: memeory... you are not compressing the drive you are consolidating free RAM. You can do this periodically, i.e. as and when you feel like it.

You can activate infrared form the "connection" folder from teh main menu of the phone itself, the time seleq comes in handy is when you want to switch infra-red *off* instead of waiting for it to time out itself.

Not something I've looked into too much, but anyone worked out a way to get SeleQ to start automatically when the phone boots up, if it's at all possible?

If you have Task Manager, you can make it one of the cycled tasks.
