t-mobile(uk)sim in motorola a925

i hav got my motorola a925 unlocked but its not working with t-mob(UK) sim, its working with o2 sim but i use t-mobile onle coz of contract
can anybody help me out with some suggestions
and i want to ask that can i use 3 network vai motorola a925 to surf internet
here is some abstract from another forum site about it,

the a925 can be used to view web pages outside the three domain. however there is a settingsin the phone's gprs config that needs to be changed to gain access to the www for eg the host apn needs to be changed from 3services to 3netaccess this enables the phone to access www directly
