The pub meet ....
The pub meet was fantastic .....
got a good insight on symbian and its uses .....
plus I WON THE PHONE .....
thanks a lot all about symbian ....
eagerly awaiting the delivery ...
thanks to nokia as well for having it up for grabs ....

Congrats vineetamar! I was out in the hall and couldn't quite hear what was going on, I didn't realise that you didn't get the phone on the night. I thought the winner would be able to take it away with them.
How long before you get it?
Next time, hopefully AAS will pick a slightly bigger venue, especially if they are giving away another phone.

I was there as well  Congrats on your win. A shame that you didn't get it right away, but anyway.
P.S. The guy from Nokia said it will NOT release the 9500 without subscription in the UK, they will only supply it to the providers (Orange, Vodafone etc...)

Hi folks ....
sorry wasnt connected to the net for some time ,.....
anyways thanks to all of you for your wishes .....
the nokia people didnt give me a specific date ...
although they say that in the uk it will be launched only after all the networks
have done their tests on the device ...
so in a way it will be launched later than the other countries,
the end of this month should be the earliest to expect it available here ...
although globally it is possible that they start shipping in the late third week ....
but as i said nothing specific was communicated ....
although they did tell me that i will be the first user in the uk to actually receive delivery and use the final version of the 9500 ... which is pretty amazing ....
and yeah .... after playing with it for a while id say it is an amazing machine ...

i hope you also got a pic of the nokia guys 9500 with the black cover ...
i personally felt it looked good with that ....
elegant with the silver one and more sporty with the black ....
