Yeeha! my dead pixel is gone!

I had this white blinking pixel just above the date when in standby mode (which manifests itself when the background is dark like blue, red, black orange, brown etc), when I got my phone about three months ago. I bought it without warranty so that rules out having it replaced. the past three weeks i noticed the dead pixel is getting smaller and smaller. now it's totally gone in all background colors (except when it's black, but it's already so tiny most people wouldn't notice it) although I think it might even go away with a little more time.
