Headphones / Battery probs

Hi All,

First posting as I've just registered today, so I'll get straight to the point.

Anyone know of where I can get some stereo headphones which i can use with my P900 AND that acts as the personal handsfree?

The problem is that I have strange shaped ear holes, because for some reason, the usual 'earphones' that are supplied with the P900 do not fit into my ears and that style of headphone never have done.

What I need are the one that go over your ear , some have clips that go around your ear . Now, I have got an adaptor so I can use standard cd player / mini disc headphones, as the adaptor can fit into the 2.5mm jack plug and take a 3.5mm headphone, but I lose the handsfree capability.

I've searched extensively on the SE website, but cannot find anything, and I've even rung SE ( UK ) , and they confirmed that they do not sell anything like that. Their best suggestion was that I spend £55 on a bluetooth music player ( HBM-30) so I could get the stero headphones and the handsfree option. Any info will be greatly appreciated. All I want to do is I listen to my MP3 files!

Secondly, in the last day or two, the battery on my phone just drains within a feqw hours from a full charge - what sgoing on there, any idea? I did install some trail software which was the only kind of conflict I could think of, but literally the phone will be down from 100% to 40% within 3-4 hours without even using it!

cheers,

Can't help you with headphone problem I'm afraid, but...

With regards to battery drain, in my experience it's one of 2 things :

1. You have bluetooth switched on.
2. An application has crashed - I had a MOD file player crash and flatten my battery in a couple of hours! Best thing to do is install HandyDay from the CD and go to the Running Applications screen - then close/kill any tasks you don't want running.

This is functionality that should have been standard with the phone IMHO.
