Do your contacts have birthday entries that have a year earlier than 1980? Seems like on the phone you can't enter dates prior to 1980. A Symbian OS limitation of sorts, I suppose.

The SyncML Server was unable to insert the following entry to the SyncML Client

"The SyncML Server was unable to insert the following entry to the SyncML Client"

When I synch, I get the above message on many of my contacts and anniversaries.

I understand that maybe the problem with anniversaries is that it does not take dates before 1980, but what is the problem with the contacts?

I have about 1300 addresses and phone numbers in Outlook, but it only seems to want to load about 537 of them into my brand new Nokia 7610. (Some of the contacts which don't load have loaded fine into my Nokia 6600. But the Nokia 6600 also only loaded around 590 contacts out of the 1300 it should.)

The message I get is: "The SyncML Server was unable to insert the following entry to the SyncML Client". This is repeated for about 800 contacts.

Any ideas anyone?
