1-touch Voicemail Access with delayed PIN entry

I was able to add a "p" to pause the 1-touch voicemail dial feature on my Nokia 3650 before it keyed the "access code" to get into my voice mail.

However since getting my Nokia 6620, I cannot figure out how to enter a "p", the little pencil key doesn't seem to work (i.e. shift the # key to letters instead of #'s) when I go to Tools --> Voice mail and try to change the number.

Anyone know how to do this now?

I do not want to have to manually enter my PIN (a.k.a. "access code") everytime I check my voicemail.

Thanks!
