nokia 6600 volume prob?

hi all, plz help! when listen to my ringtones/alarm my volume is reasonable? but even though my volume is set at max, when i choose a ringtone it is very quiet? my alarm is even quieter? can hardly hear it, any suggestions welcome, thanx in advance.

I have got the same problem.
Ive just got my 6600 but its voice like nothing. cant hear anything although set to max. help ? advice ? comment ?

I had the same problem. I was talking to someone in the pub and they said they tested mobiles for a living. He said he tested the 6600 and found the same problem. His solution was to go into Real player and set the volume to max. He said that its a bug that causes the Real player volume to be the default for the phone's maximum volume.

I did as he said and it worked. Though its still not as loud as I would like.

Try Smart Profiles for nokia 6600

I had some problems with my 6600, including sound problems, (i.e: the nokia presentation when I turn on the phone). The problem was solved with the new firmware v 5.xx.x.
