How to use PC's internet connetcion to download POP3 mail when the phone is docked.

I know that Opera uses the internet connection of the host PC, when the phone is docked or paired with bluetooth. Is it possible to use the internet connection of the host PC to download and read POP3 or IMAP mails for which a e-mail messaging account is set up.

It's not possible with the native email s/w since it always asks you to choose a connection method.

It may however be possible with 3rd party email client s/w, just as Opera is 3rd party browser s/w.

Don't ask me what's out there because I don't know!
