HELP !!! corrupted card

i own a bytestor 128 mb memory card. i tried to use a card reader to put an MP3 on my phone from a mac but i disconnected the reader before the transfer finished . Now if i put my card in my phone it does not start up properly just puts on the nokia logo and leaves it there . The card works fine in my concord go-wireless digital camera but i can't find the corrupted file through there only full files ( not the system folder of n-gage stuff either) The card reader i used will not register the card. If i turn on the N-gage without the card in then manouver it under the battery i can get it in but my N-gage just calls it a corrupted card under memory and dosn't show any of my stuff. I thought about using FExplorer to manually delete the corupted file (like i deleted only 1 file last time the card became corrupted time. by usaing Fexplorer but of course this is stored on the memory card LOL) any advice on how i could save all my skyforce, bounce, rally pro ect scores before i format the card. I can't put fexplorer on the memory as you cannot put the .sis file on th phone memory only on the card

why the F*CK did u disconnect it before the transfer was finished , and i guess becuz of ur 'action' all the files became corrupted, so u lose all of ur precious scores , i wouldnt give a shit btw if i lost all my scores, just format the damn thing and u can use it again (maybe :P )

I pulled it out because i thought it was finished (emac wasn't very clear)... only one file is coorupt. Like i said the others that i can acces work fine in my camera

ya, this happened to me, to fix it if your on a n-gage go to:

menu>tools>memory>options>format mem. card

let it do its job, it mite take a while, after your mem card should be good.

NOTE: Doing this will TOTALY erase whatever is on it

hi i have this problem .. i have a kingmax 256 mmc card. i put some music on it but i pulled it out after it finished. i put it in my n-gage qd and and error comes up and says Card Corrupt. I tried formatting it but right at the end the format stops and says card corrupt.

I am currently experiencing the same issue. Now it doesnt even detect that a memory card is present. I tried to format it with my dig camera, it froze and done nothing (after a lengthy wait).

Then when i put the card back into the gage, it decided that it was corrupt, and asked me to format. I selected ok, it took 1.5 seconds to format then asked for a name. I selected the default one and then it came up with that corrupted thing again!!

What is going on???

Partitioning of the card is messed up. Just look for some tool sw like this one www.7tools.com/demo_pm.html

This will not help you but may help someone else reading this. You can boot up your phone with the case off. Dont click the battery all the way in. You can them carefully lever the battery up and slide your sdcard in. Its tricky but possible. Use this he a program on your card is stopping you from booting your ngage.

the same happend to me with my nokia 6670, but my memory card is a kingston 512mb card! when i go to options\format memory card... it starts to format and says format complete. then it comes up with memory card name (so i can give the card a name) but when i click okat it says 'error occured, operation cancelled'

so my card wont format!! is there any other way of formating the memory card without the use of a card reader?

I am Bhubesh from India, I have a problem in nokia 6600 that My Memory card is not formatting in phone but easily in PC when I put this in phone My nokia 6600 is saying MMC corrupt but when I run in computer through Card reader it is ok and data can be written and copy. when the same card inserted in 6600 it say memory corrupt and when i format it take 2 sec to format 512MB card then say format complete and ask card name but when i press ok it say error occur operation cancelled. and memory card corrupt.
Else i enter 256 MB card that i was using in KODAK Digital camera It detect card and when i save any file in card memory i say retry or data will be lost.and then Memory card corrupt When i try to format card in phone same as above problem come

download software called MMCmedic.exe, search it in google ull get it
